PlumePGH is produced by the Carnegie Mellon University CREATE Lab.
CREATE Lab aims to be a new model for university-community relations, rooting all of our work in the human experience and visualizing data with a mind for social good. CREATE Lab has developed PlumePGH to integrate crowd-sourced data from SmellPGH with NOAA weather models and air quality monitoring data from regulatory and citizen-owned networks. The alignment of these independent data sources can help us understand whose health may be impacted by this industrial pollution.
